Caroline & Derek

I woke up and, like any other wedding day, I checked the weather on my phone. When I saw 70s and a clear, sunny sky in the forecast, I could not jump out of bed and race into my car quick enough! I'd been (im)patiently waiting for Caroline and Derek's mountain wedding since we met at Marshall Park for their engagement session and now their big day was finally here!

Caroline and Derek are a super adventurous couple who met in college. Their love story has been filled with hiking, climbing, and whitewater kayaking adventures, especially in the majesty of the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains (they're a couple after my own heart!). It was only fitting that their wedding day was filled with family, friends, and the same gorgeous mountain views that was the background to their love story.
