It’s been a while since I posted a personal blog post update. Life has been so busy recently with Tyler and I becoming first time parents AND selling our house + moving all in the same year. We couldn’t be more happy with our transition to parenthood, even if it was so much harder than either one of us expected (and everyone told us it would be hard!). From months of colic, to a cow’s milk protein allergy, to reflux, to eczema and other skin issues, our little Juniper had a lot of hurdles to overcome early on. She is almost 8 months now and with all those early problems well under control now, we finally feel a bit more settled in our lives and our roles as parents. She is the happiest, smileist, cutest baby in the whole wide world (you can tell I’m not biased at all!) and – despite the hardships and lack of sleep – it’s been a true joy to be her mama!
We had the opportunity to take fall photos at one of my favorite uptown locations this past week while the trees were still in fall color and I wanted to share them! The big Gingko tree in the center of Marshall Park is the tree that I plan my fall engagement sessions around every year. She truly is a stunning thing in her full fall golden color and I’m so glad we got our first fall family photos surrounded by the city I grew up in and this beautiful tree’s stunning leaves!
A big thank you to Savvy Leigh Photography for taking these photos for us! Edits were done by me.
