Megan and Adam’s wedding was one of the most gorgeous spring weddings I’ve had the pleasure of capturing. From Megan’s unique details (including a miniature of their getaway car later that night!) down to their beautiful first touch and their heartfelt last dance, the day was an absolute dream! Starmount Forest Country Club was the perfect backdrop for their elegant and classic wedding day.
Spring here in North Carolina can be…unpredictable to say the least. We have a saying, “If you don’t like the weather here, just wait 5 minutes!” That saying is certainly true here, especially when the weather finally starts to warm up from winter. Luckily, we had the best weather that Greensboro, NC has to offer! Bright, fluffy clouds rolled in, kept the temperature in the mid 70s, gave us gorgeous light, and then parted right for golden hour! It’s a wedding photographer’s DREAM day!
Watching Megan get ready and interact with her bridesmaids was so sweet. It was obvious that Megan was so excited to marry the love of her life and her girls were there to support her every step of the way. Adam surprised Megan with a gift for her to open before the ceremony and then the girls surprised Megan with a gift of their own; they all disappeared for a moment and came back with shots for each of them while playing the song “Shots” by LMFAO. It was the most fun getting ready moment ever!
Megan was the type of bride that was really organized and planned a lot of things herself. Planning a wedding can be hard and she did a fantastic job! Her choice of venue was one of my favorites. Starmount Forest Country Club was the perfect location for Megan and Adam to tie the knot. There are so many beautiful spots at that venue, when it comes to photos, it’s hard to decide where to go! My personal favorite is right outside the building; the elegant entryway, white columns, and gorgeous landscaping makes for a perfect spot to add some classic, southern charm to your wedding day photos!
After a beautiful ceremony, heartfelt special dances, and some awesome moves on the dancefloor, it was time for Megan and Adam’s grand exit! Running through a tunnel of sparklers held by their closet friends and family into their vintage getaway car “Mrs. Daisy” was a perfect end to their perfect wedding day!
Enjoy a few of my favorite from Megan and Adam’s big day!
