There are some people you just grow up knowing. Michael and I went to the same small schools all the way through high school and eventually ended up at Appalachian State together for college. When you come up through schools that small, you know everyone. So when I showed up for Micheal's Alexander Homestead wedding, it felt like one of those full-circle moments that makes this job so special! 

And then the wedding day itself was just... so good! A forecast for cold weather but instead we got sunshine and 70s, their dog as a ring bearer, roses in full bloom, the Kentucky derby screened at their reception - this wedding was SO much fun!
