Caroline & Derek

 I had the pleasure of photographing Caroline and Derek’s fall engagement session in Uptown Charlotte at Marshall Park as well as the courthouse, and it couldn’t have been more perfect!

We met bright and early for a sunrise session on a crisp, chilly morning. It was a super chilly morning (especially since we Charlotteans are used to a warm fall!), but Caroline and Derek were absolute troopers. They were able to laugh with each other and were so natural in front of the camera, making my job as their photographer a breeze. Plus, the reward for braving the early hours was well worth it—golden light, easy parking, and an empty park! We even caught the massive Gingko tree in full fall color, it was a perfect session!
