Anna and Sam’s Winter Wonderland Wedding at the fabulous Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville, SC was nothing short of amazing. It was elegant, a rollercoaster of emotions, and a whole lot of fun!
The day kicked off with a buzz of excitement, setting the stage for a celebration that will be etched in memory. A super sweet moment was Anna’s first look with her dad. One of my favorite things that I get to capture as a wedding photographer are all the heartfelt moments that take place during the day. I live to capture every happy tear that is shed on your big day! This first look set the tone for the entire celebration, infusing the chilly winter day with warmth and emotion. It was a reminder that amidst all the festivities, the true magic of a wedding lies in these little moments.
Now, let’s talk about the rooftop! The Westin Poinsett has this amazing neon sign on the roof of the hotel that is absolutely gorgeous. Despite the f-r-e-e-z-i-n-g wind, Anna and Sam braved the elements so we could capture some amazing images in front of the iconic sign. It was so windy, Anna’s veil was blown right off of her head! Talk about adding a gorgeous wind-blown look to your couples portraits!
And can I please take a moment to appreciate the Westin Poinsett? This place is not just a hotel; it’s a love haven. The vibe is classy, the elegance is timeless, and the staff is like your personal dream team, making sure your big day is nothing short of amazing. The halls are a photographer’s dream – everywhere you look, there’s a perfect spot for amazing images!
As the night unfolded, the whole party counted down the seconds to midnight. Anna and Sam shared a New Year’s toast, sealing the deal with a kiss that was straight out of a fairy tale. Fast forward to the grand exit. Anna and Sam made a grand exit with complete with cold sparklers, cheering guests, and a huge Christmas tree decorated in the background. It was nothing short of magical!
Anna and Sam, you are such a sweet couple and it was a pleasure seeing you experience the start of your new married life! It’s clear to see how much your friends and family love and support you both. Thank you so much for letting me capture your big day!!
